Our vision is to reach, teach, make disciples, and empower the people through the Holy Spirit, for the revival, to be restored to the fullness of the purpose of God. A life giving Church and a people of prayer for an end time revival.

The Mission is to assist believers to become rooted, grounded, and established in the Word of God. We are committed to raise leaders by building and equipping the saints to operate confidently in the Biblical principles and in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT
WE BELIEVE

We stand united with the historic Christian faith that was built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, with Christ as the cornerstone:

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

  • We believe in one God, existing eternally in three Persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

​

  • We believe in the Deity and humanity of the Son, Jesus Christ, both truly God and truly Man. 

​

  • We believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried and raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

​

  • We believe in justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in the redemptive work of Christ alone.

​

  • We believe that Christ will return in glory, for His bride the Church, and to establish His eternal Kingdom.

​

  • We believe in the continuing work of the Holy Spirit, in the regeneration, sealing and sanctification of the saints, conviction of sin, intercession, in testimony of Christ and the manifestation of the spiritual gifts in the church.

OUR PASTOR

Pastor Samson Joy

Having begun his walk with the Lord Jesus at a young age, Pastor Samson has been serving in various spiritual leadership and ministerial roles from 2007, culminating in the call of God to shepherd His people in Ottawa. Recognizing the divine appointment and under the mentorship of Senior Pastor John Thomas, he was ordained to lead International Revival Church, Ottawa on April 9, 2023. He is currently pursuing M.A in Psychology and Counseling with School of Ministry & Digital Missions in Pune, India.

For more than a decade he has been instrumental in training many youths who have gone on to serve God's kingdom as pastors, youth ministers and worship leaders around the world. As a gifted singer, he is often called upon to lead worship in churches, conventions and other venues but prefers to work behind the scenes to equip others to take up such mantles. In 2017, God gave him the grace to release his first album – Everyone will praise.

God has placed a special emphasis in his heart for children, especially orphans. In that light, he currently serves Charity Organizations: Operation Christmas Child as an Area Coordinator and Operation Smile as an active member. He also continues to support various orphanages in India.

On the home front, he is blessed with an amazing family - his lovely wife Akza and two energetic young boys Joziah and Nehemiah. He loves to grill food and is also passionate about soccer. IRC
TORONTO

International Revival Church, Toronto is the parent organization of IRC, Ottawa and is lead by our Senior Pastor, John Thomas. The ministry was born out of a vision from God to Revive today’s generation to the fullness of God.
